InterVarsity at NAU
Our vision at NAU InterVarsity is to transform the lives of students and faculty, renew the campus and change the world for and through Jesus Christ.
We pursue this vision through small group bible studies, large group fellowship, events, evangelism, leadership and social justice.
Meet the Staff
Staff are on campus to support the students in order to fulfill the vision at NAU InterVarsity.

The Year in Review
We started the year off with something new, Movement meetings. The idea comes from wanting to actually do what Jesus preaches, instead of just talking about it. We want to start a movement.
Our first meeting was a $20 challenge. The staff gathered enough money to hand out $20 to each student that showed up. To read more about what students did to Change the World with $20, read here.
We also put on our 3rd "Release" event. During the Release events, we raise money for a social justice issue. We want to show the campus that Jesus cares about the same things a lot of students care about. In 2008, we raised money for International Justice mission to fight human trafficking. In 2009, we raised funds to combat the unjust cycle of prostitution in Phoenix. This year we decided to work with World Vision to fight for children orphaned by AIDS in Africa. We raised over $7,000. Throughout the year, we used these interactive booths, called Proxe stations to interact with students on campus and open up about God and spiritual conversations. Here is a picture of some students with the Proxe Station during Release 2010.
This last year in Small Groups, we studied the Psalms and James. In Large Groups we opened up about the parables. To listen to any of the talks from this last school year, scroll down throughout the blog and watch any of the streaming videos.
There is so much more to talk about, but it would never all fit in one post.
This fall we are looking forward to a newly structured events team, with women's and men's ministries, a growing prayer team and dynamic speaking from the new staff team! Join us in September. For up to date info, check out our Facebook Group!

Leadership Applications available now!
1. Fill out the application prayerfully and honestly.
2. Apply because you love the community and want to serve other students, not because you want a leadership title.
3. Attend Cross Training on Saturday March 27, an afternoon of training to help you identify your gifts and match them with the needs of the chapter.
4. Make every effort to attend Chapter Camp, our weeklong conference in Colorado Springs at the end of the year.
Applications are due April 1 so we can have positions set by Reading week.
